By accessing the website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by the following terms & conditions
- The title of the goods does not pass to the customer until all monies have been received in full.
- All trade sales are final.
- Competition parts are sold without warranty. It is the responsibility of the purchaser and user of such parts to determine their suitability and legality for whatever purpose they are intended.
- Mail order goods are supplied with a seven-day cooling off period in which they may return for a full refund.
- The notice to cancel must be given in writing within the seven days period and returned items are sent back at the customers expense.
- Salvage vehicles i.e. insurance losses are sold with no warranty and it is the customer responsibility to make sure the roadworthiness of the vehicle
- All units must be fitted within 2 weeks for any warranty to be valid.
- Engines and gearboxes are supplied with a start up warranty.
- Changes in delivery times will be notified to the customer as soon as is responsibility possible.
- Parts purchased will comply with the Sale & Supply of Goods Act 1994 and be of "Satisfactory Quality" unless specified at the time of sale.
- Please note all parts supplied, are marked with the ScoobySpares.com stamp/initials, removal of these marks will invalidate your guarantee/warranty.
- No parts may be altered, modified or dismantled in anyway without prior permission of ScoobySpares.com in writing. Failure to comply with these terms will invalidate your guarantee/warranty.
- On delivery, please inspect all goods before signing; this is to ensure that the item has not been damaged during transit. If the courier refuses to let you inspect the goods, simply write the word 'Damaged' and then sign. This is to ensure that if necessary, a claim can be made against the courier company. If goods prove to be damaged, do not sign & contact ScoobySpares.com within 1 working day.
- In the event that a part(s) are supplied and prove to be incorrect or faulty upon fitting, ScoobySpares.com must be notified within 48 hours. Collection can then be arranged; if a replacement is not available then a full refund will be offered.
- In the event that a part is supplied correctly but the customer had made an error whilst ordering that part, ScoobySpares.com must be contacted immediately and the part returned to the dismantler within 7 days of purchase at the cost of the customer. ScoobySpares.com will refund the customer but may charge a carriage and packaging fee.
- In the event that a part has been ordered but is subsequently cancelled before dispatch, ScoobySpares.com will refund the customer but may charge a cancellation fee of 10%.
- Refunds will only be made upon the return of the goods in the condition they where supplied.
- All engines purchased must be fitted with a new timing belt/cam belt/chain and filled with new oil and oil filter upon installation. Failure to follow this procedure will result in the guarantee/warranty being rendered null and void. Gearboxes must be filled with new oil upon installation. Failure to follow this procedure will result in the guarantee/warranty being rendered null and void.
- Due to the un-insurability by the majority of couriers, glass is supplied and sent at the customer’s own risk, refunds for breakage's are not possible.
- All parts purchased are supplied on a part(s) only basis. ScoobySpares.com are unable to accept any responsibility for labour charges incurred in the fitting or removal of parts or any responsibility for any vehicle hire charges or any other consequential loss.
